Secretary

National Junior Honor Society

In order to be inducted into the National Junior Honor Society, I had to go through an extensive application process, including recommendations. I was voted into the position of secretary after giving a speech to my fellow members. My job as secretary was to keep track of attendance, write out meeting scripts, send out meeting notes to all 40+ members, answer email questions, count and keep track of service hours, and assist my leading teacher in any other tasks. I also had to complete at least 25 service hours.

Languages: Intermediate-Advanced German. Conversational ASL. Basic Spanish.
Computer Skills: Well trained in Microsoft Office, Presentations, and Google Docs.
Leadership: Leadership experience as former secretary of the Schmucker National Junior Honor Society (2013-2014).
Fundraising/Money-Making Skills: 3 year team member of Relay For Life.
