Experiences

Volunteer @ Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy

I have done volunteer work at Brooklyn Bridge Park in Brooklyn. This included maintaining the park grounds, keeping a visitor count and assisting heads of the conservancy. I am also a member of two volunteer clubs at my high school in which I assist at events like the AIDS walk in Central Park.

Babysitting and Petsitting @

I have enjoyed being able to supervise, while entertaining, the younger kids in my neighborhood aged 6-10. I have also been hired to cat-sit and pet sit often.

Student Athlete @ Brooklyn Technical High School

During the winter season I was a member of the school wrestling team, a PSAL city wide championship team. Aside from fostering diligence and motivation, the team required me to sell refreshments to raise funding.

Interest

It would be fantastic to work with children in summer camps. As a kid I attended Camp Sloane YMCA for three years, Camp Hilltop sleepaway camp, basketball camp at Basketball City, the City Farmers program at Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, and Carmelo Science camp, to name a few. I loved all of the above and it would be great to work in a similar setting.
Going into Junior year of high school, I am primarily looking for summer work.
In my free time I am interested in fitness, basketball, writing, music, video editing, and wrestling. I love making new friends and having new experiences.
