Volunteer

Montefiore Nursing Home

I volunteered at Montefiore for the past two summer. There I helped patients feel more comfortable by feeding them, reading to them, and playing games with them. These interactions really helped patients feel more at ease , especially those who received little to no visits from family members. This experiance not only taught me how to work well with other but also taught me to be a good team leader & more patient.

Interest

I am really passionate about sports and my academics & I work really hard to excel in both ( basketball and track). I also participate in clubs that I feel help make a differance in my community such as SGORR (student group on racial relationships) which is a group that mentors student at the elementary level.
