Apprentice -Author/Illustrator
After School Matters- Senn Arts
.As a member of the Senn Arts Team I created a children's book. I presented my idea, created the book, finished it and refined what need to be fixed. Along the way I was met with expectations, deadlines and responsibility. I was also able to learn and build on my skills. Such as, interacting with a group of people, how to be a leader, talking to an audience, and listening to what others have to say. We even had a chance to work with residence at Misericordia, there I did an art project with them, were we painted a transforming butterfly. We helped the residents paint if they need help, and gave them a part to do, and be able to contribute to the painting. The culminating activity was a show case, we brought our finished books to show the residents and explain what the stories were about, as well as the residents presented the artwork to those who had not worked on the project.

In The JHPCC I helped kids complete their homework, making sure they stayed focus on the task in hand, and making sure they completed the assignment. As well as helping them with martial arts, training them, and helping them improve on their skills. I have also helped with cleaning, doing paper work, and helping with translating things in Spanish for parents.

Interest
During my free time I like to read or write, and I have also had some of my works published, mostly poems. Some of my favorite books are, The Hunger Games, Percy Jackson, The Crucible, The Picture of Dorian Gray, The Da Vinci Code, and Angels and Demons. I also enjoy drawing, photography and occasionally painting. I use this talent to express myself or my feelings ,to let my mind wonder places, and to explore new things. Something else I like doing is playing sports, recently I started doing martial arts, but I do enjoy playing soccer, football,and swimming. I do also play a few video games once in a while.
