Experiences

Volunteer @ ALSO Youth Sarasota

Attended Empower Tampa: A Youth Summit to learn about health issues among my peers as well as become educated on creating more secure and all-embracing schools. I also became more familiarized with the intersections of race and LGBT people's individuality. Conducted surveys to raise awareness on Florida HB 583 and SB 1464. I also helped to send letters to Representatives and Senators in an attempt to open their eyes to the safety concerns and opinions of our community.

Volunteer @ Pride and awareness events

Helped to organize and set up a booth at Manatee Pride and the Harvey Milk Festival as well as sell merchandise.

Ambassador @ Asolo Repertory Theatre

Gave a speech along with two other youth to raise awareness of and give information on ALSO Youth's drop-in center and programs, and inform people of what ALSO means to us and the importance of the center.
